Heli-Muster NT is a specialist aerial mustering operator in Northern Australia providing professional, efficient and safe mustering services and support to the pastoral industry. Our helicopters operate right across the North with machines based in the Victoria River District, Kimberley Region, Arnhem Land, Roper, Barkley and as far south as Alice Springs.

Aerial mustering is Heli-Muster NT’s area of expertise and we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver a high-quality and efficient mustering service to our clients every time. Our team of skilled mustering pilots are practical and capable stockmen, with extensive cattle handling experience both on the ground and in the air with a thorough understanding of Northern Australian operations.

Heli-Muster NT’s mustering fleet consists of Robinson R22 Beta and Beta II helicopters which are well suited to and extensively used across Northern Australia for aerial mustering.

Heli-Muster NT - Serving the Pastoral Industry since 1976

Heli-Muster was started back in 1976 by John Weymouth as a two-helicopter aerial cattle mustering operation. The company flourished in subsequent years to become the major player of the Australian mustering industry.

At its peak in the mid 1980's the company had over 26 mustering helicopters across the Top End, which consisted of Bell 47’s and Kawasaki KH4’s until the advent of the more modern Robinson R22, which was introduced in the late 1980’s.

From day one the main base for Heli-Muster has been Victoria River Downs Station (VRD), in the northwest of the Northern Territory, known as the Big Run or VRD. Today, the company is trading as Heli-Muster (NT) Pty Ltd and continues to operate from Victoria River Downs as a family-owned business.
